Are you a technically minded sales engineer with experience in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)? This is a rare opportunity to join a long-established supplier of precision consumables and technical solutions, supporting some of the most demanding manufacturing environments in the UK.
 
The Role - Sales Engineer

• aerospace, automotive, medical, and precision engineering sectors as a Sales Engineer
• Provide technical support on graphite, copper, brass, wire, and other erosion-related materials
• Recommend tailored solutions to meet demanding machining tolerances and production requirements
• Generate quotations, conduct on-site visits, and maintain strong customer service standards
• Identify new opportunities and work closely with internal teams to meet demand efficiently

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

• Technical sales experience in EDM or precision manufacturing environments as a sales engineer
• Solid understanding of EDM processes (wire erosion, die-sinking, etc.) and the materials involved
• Ability to read technical drawings and communicate machining needs effectively
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong commercial awareness as a sales engineer
• Engineering qualification or relevant hands-on experience (toolroom or applications background desirable)
