Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading provider of uninterruptible power supplies and generator solutions to recruit a Sales Engineer across the UK.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will:

• Sell and specify energy efficiency solutions to consultants and end-users
• Deliver presentations, CPD sessions, and industry events
• Prepare and submit tenders/quotes based on project specs or site visits
• Manage relationships with system integrators and partners
• Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover
• Contribute to product launches, pricing, and marketing materialss
• Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.
• Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering desirable
• Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering
• Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)
• Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).

The Sales Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Technically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer value
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
• Confident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels
• Highly organised with strong time management skills.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
