Sales Executive – B2B / Commercial Sales
Leicester
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Commission (DOE)
Full-time | Permanent
We’re hiring a Sales Executive for a growing technical manufacturing business supplying products into the trade and construction market.
This is a B2B commercial sales role (not B2C), focused on account management, quote follow-up, and new business development. You’ll be working with installers, subcontractors, builders, and contractors, so industry knowledge is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up quotations and convert to orders
- Manage and grow existing B2B trade accounts
- Develop new business with trade and contractor customers
- Handle technical and commercial enquiries
- Support customers with value engineering / alternative solutions
- Liaise with estimating, production, and operations teams
- Update CRM, sales pipeline, and customer records
- Track quote conversion, feedback, and sales activity
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience
- Strong commercial sales background
- Experience in glazing, windows, aluminium systems, construction products, fenestration, or technical manufacturing
- Confident communicator with trade customers
- Organised and proactive, with good pipeline management skills
- Comfortable using CRM/sales systems
