A supportive Primary School in the NG12 postcode area is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 contract, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, working closely with pupils who require additional support. The role will involve delivering tailored teaching and interventions to meet a range of special educational needs, with a particular focus on communication and interaction. Proven experience supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs is essential for this position.
SEN Teacher
0.8 contract (4 days per week)
Based at a Primary School in NG12
Start ASAP
Planning, delivering and assessing personalised learning programmes
Working collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and external agencies
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong experience within an SEN setting or supporting pupils with additional needs
Essential experience supporting communication and interaction needs (e.g. speech and language difficulties, ASC)
A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A welcoming and inclusive school environment

Competitive daily pay: £168.80 - £232.57, depending on experience and responsibilities
