We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Tutors to support students across the Loughborough area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a student’s educational journey.

The Role
As a 1:1 SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students who require additional learning support. You will deliver tailored lessons that suit their individual learning styles, helping them build confidence, develop key academic skills, and progress in their education.

Location:
Tutoring may take place in person at learners’ homes, schools, or local libraries in Loughborough, depending on the student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 SEN tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning needs

• Support students with core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science

• Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning abilities and needs

• Help students build confidence, independence, and motivation

• Provide feedback on student progress when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience in the UK

• Experience supporting students with SEN (such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
