What the role involves
This is not a sales role – there are no targets and no commission. This is true account management, where the focus is on building relationships and ensuring the smooth running of high-value customer accounts. You’ll be responsible for either 3–4 accounts each worth £100–300k per annum or one to two accounts with a value in excess of £1m per annum, so as an Account Manager, you’ll be trusted with major clients from day one.
