Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support ongoing works on a major steel structures project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project with long-term potential, starting immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for structural steel installations

• Ensuring alignment, levels and tolerances meet engineering specifications

• Interpreting structural and fabrication drawings for site execution

• Coordinating with fabricators, steel erectors and project managers

• Maintaining quality control and accurate site records

• Supporting HSEQ compliance and reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with steel frame or structural steel projects

• Proficient in using total stations and relevant engineering equipment

• Strong understanding of technical drawings and setting-out procedures

• Valid CSCS card

• Full UK driving licence

• Able to work independently and manage site engineering tasks with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• HND or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

• SSSTS/SMSTS (advantageous but not essential)
