Location: Desborough
Salary: £65,000 – £72,000 per annum
Type: Permanent
Sector: Residential New Build
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of a 100-unit traditional build residential development in Desborough. The project is already live, and the business is looking to appoint a permanent Site Manager as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who takes genuine pride in site presentation, quality, and delivery, and who wants to work in a supportive, people-focused environment where doing the job properly really matters.
Key Responsibilities
Full day-to-day management of a traditional build residential development
Delivering the project safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards
Maintaining excellent site presentation at all times
Managing and coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensuring NHBC standards are met and inspections are passed
Driving quality across all stages of the build
Leading by example on health & safety and compliance
Working collaboratively with the wider site and commercial teams
Creating a positive, professional site culture
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential new build projects
Strong background in traditional build housing
NHBC experience preferred (not essential, but highly advantageous)
Someone who takes real pride in their work and site standards
Dedicated, passionate, and hardworking approach
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to motivate trades and maintain a calm, respectful site environment
Culture & Fit
This role would suit someone who:
Wants to be part of a family-style culture
Is proud of the homes they deliver
Values support, coaching, and development
Prefers a professional, respectful environment — no shouting, no blame culture
Wants the right tools, training, trades, and backing to do the job properly
This business is particularly keen to speak with Site Managers from strong residential developers (for example, those with experience on high-quality traditional housing developments).
What’s on Offer
£65,000 – £72,000 salary (depending on experience)
Bonus linked to pride in the job and quality delivery
Long-term, stable role on a flagship residential scheme
Supportive leadership who will coach, invest in, and back you
Opportunity to be part of something long-term, not just “another site”
Why Apply?
If you’re a Site Manager who cares about quality, presentation, and people, and you want to work for a business that genuinely supports its site teams, this is an opportunity to be part of something special — not just a job, but a team and a family.
