Stores Operative – Loughborough
Mon–Fri | Pay Rate - Negotiable | Full-Time
Inplace Personnel Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative on behalf of our client based in Loughborough, a leading generator specialist providing hire, sales, and maintenance services across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing team in a key supply chain role.
The Role
- Manage goods-in/goods-out processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory records and update master data systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual stocktakes.
- Handle supplier returns, tooling checks, and van stock control.
- Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and delivery drivers.
- Keep stores areas clean, secure, and well organised.
- Contribute to process improvements across the supply chain.
The Person
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory/stores role.
- Happy with manual labour / heavy lifting when required.
- Good IT skills and experience with stock or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- An in-date and nationally recognised counterbalance license is desired.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
Pay Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
