Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

2 x Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Higher)
Burton-on-Trent (DE13 area) A brand NEW setting
Start: After October Half Term – until Christmas (potential to continue into the new year)
Full-time

We’re working with a lovely primary school in the Burton-on-Trent area seeking two Early Years Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or higher) to join their team after half term. These roles are initially until Christmas, with the possibility of extension into the new year.

The Role:

• Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment

• Assisting with play-based learning and small-group activities

• Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and observations

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher (essential)

• Experience in an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
