Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Outskirts of Kettering, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school on the outskirts of Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in their learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in the classroom
Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Providing additional support to students with SEN or SEMH needs (where required)
Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable)
Is patient, adaptable, and confident supporting learning in a classroom setting
Has strong communication and behaviour management skills
Holds a valid DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one)
Is reliable and able to commute to the outskirts of Kettering
