About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate tutors to deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition to students in the Corby area. This role involves providing personalised academic support to children and young people who may be catching up on missed learning, preparing for exams, or requiring additional support outside of mainstream education.
Tuition sessions may take place in pupils’ homes, schools, or local libraries.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver tailored 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, Science, or your subject specialism.
Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons based on each learner’s individual needs and goals.
Support students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, or Functional Skills qualifications.
Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
Provide clear feedback and maintain accurate session records.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and coordinators where appropriate.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or proven tutoring/teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, professional, and committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
