About the Role:
Questech Automotive are seeking a skilled and reliable Light Vehicle Mechanic to join one of our amazing clients growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of light vehicles, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance on light vehicles

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment

• Carry out repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, transmissions, and other components

• Ensure all work is completed to safety and manufacturer standards

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Communicate clearly with customers and team members

• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Fully qualified to level 3 in City & Guilds or equivalent)

• Experience in a workshop or dealership setting (preferred)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current driver’s licence

• Good communication and customer service skills

What We Offer:

Salary - You will earn an hourly rate of between £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is available and paid at an enhanced rate.
