Vehicle Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles

• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical data

• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently

• Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work required

• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards

• Accurately complete job cards, reports and service documentation

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

• Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop colleagues

Skills & Experience

• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

• MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence
