The Opportunity
Ford & Stanley are proud to be partnering with a leading rail specialist in Derby to appoint a proactive Quality Engineer. This is a rare "blank canvas" opportunity to join an expanding engineering business that is moving from a reactive to a proactive quality culture. Our client has a full order book and is looking for a specialist who wants to put their own stamp on a Quality Management System. If you enjoy the challenge of identifying root causes and developing new processes from scratch to ensure "Right-First-Time" delivery, this is the perfect career move for you.

Responsibilities:

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will hold an HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline and possess a deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015. Previous experience within the Rail sector or a similar heavy engineering environment is essential. We are looking for a personality that stands out - you shouldn’t be a "wallflower." You will need a good sense of humour, the ability to "work in the grey" while systems are being built, and the confidence to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement for the client.

Location: Derby (5 days on-site with occasional site-based audits).

Salary: Up to £45,000
