This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support, helping to nurture their development and foster a positive learning environment.

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, tailoring assistance to individual needs

• Facilitate learning and engagement during lessons, breaks, and lunchtimes

• Collaborate with class teachers to implement daily educational activities and classroom management

• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment

• Promote an inclusive, respectful, and positive atmosphere for all students

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience or transferable skills in working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)

• A strong commitment to the welfare and development of young people

• Patience, reliability, and a proactive, solution-focused approach

• Willingness to obtain or hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service)

• Permanent UK residency (essential)

All successful applicants will be subject to safer recruitment protocols, including:

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (arranged via Teaching Personnel if needed)

• Provision of two professional references covering the last 24 months

• Overseas Police Check, if applicable (for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
