SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Nuneaton, Coventry, CV10
Weekly Rate: £460 - £500
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Contract: Long-term with the possibility of becoming permanent

Long Term Futures are working with a modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton who are looking to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This role will be based in KS2, providing 1:1 support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in Year 5 and Year 6. The position is long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs
• Confident behaviour management skills with a calm, patient approach
• Ability to follow EHCP targets and contribute to progress reviews
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective SEN support strategies
