Rhino Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, multidisciplinary design consultancy in Leicester, who are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to support their continued growth.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to take a leading role within a dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing projects, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Manage project teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary design professionals
• Oversee the production of technical drawings, reports, and calculations
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external authorities

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)
• Significant experience within the building and construction sector
• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Chartered status (or working towards) is desirable
