Job description

Our client is a prestigous and growing bank in the West End of London. They urgently seek an experienced Banking Accounts Payable Accountant. It is essential for all applicants to have worked for a bank or similar Corporate  financial institution for a minimum of 3 years. Oracle users will be advantagous Duties include: 

• Process all invoices, month end close, including calculating and posting expenditure accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain the AP database ensuring accurate up to date data for expense and VAT processing. 
• Nostro reconciliations,Prepare payment runs  and anti-fraud controls. .
• Assist in the recommendation and improvement of processes.

This position is hybrid and the duration is a long term contract with banking benefits.
