Hinckley sits in the south-west corner of Leicestershire, on the A5 corridor between Leicester (15 miles east) and Birmingham (25 west). That central position is why distribution is so big here — every UK-wide carrier wants a hub roughly at this point.

DPD's UK head office is on Roebuck Way at Hinckley Park, and the company is one of the larger employers in the town across both corporate and driver-and-warehouse roles. Triumph Motorcycles has its global HQ and main factory on Normandy Way (LE10) — the brand brought a lot of design and engineering jobs back when it relocated from Meriden. A few miles up the A5 is the MIRA Technology Park, the automotive proving ground, with a steady run of test-engineer, NVH and prototype roles. Beyond those headliners: warehouses for IBC, McCain and a long list of 3PL operators line the A5; retail and care work fills out the rest in the town centre.
