Job Description:

A local professional services employer is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior or Accounts Manager to join its friendly team, based close to South Derby, Long Eaton, Castle Donington, Ashby and Loughborough.

Working with a varied portfolio of SMEs, sole traders and limited companies, this Accounts Manager / Accounts Senior opportunity offers a broad role covering accounts preparation, taxation and client management within a supportive and expanding firm.

The role would suit either an experienced Accounts Senior looking to progress or an established Accounts Manager seeking a varied position in a modern accountancy practice.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Reviewing financial records and ensuring compliance
• Preparing management accounts and supporting forecasting work
• Managing and developing client relationships
• Liaising with clients, HMRC and third parties
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
