Job Description:

As an Assembly Operative, you’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment where the standard of your work directly contributes to the quality of products leaving the site. 

You’ll be involved in hands-on production work including assembling components, preparing materials, trimming leather and fabrics and checking your own work against the required specifications.

Your responsibilities as Assembly Operative

• Assemble and trim seats accurately to drawing specifications
• Use manual and electric tools safely to complete production tasks
• Check completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved
• Prepare materials ready for the production process
• Trim leather and fabric components accurately
• Identify quality issues before products progress through production

What we’re looking for in a Assembly Operative

• Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience
• Experience using manual and electric tools
• Ability to work accurately from drawings or specifications
• Experience with trimming, fabrics, leather or similar materials would be advantageous
• Understanding of manufacturing quality control processes

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–1:30pm.
