Assistant Manager - Trend-Led Fashion Brand

 We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Manager to join a fast-paced, trend-inspiring fashion brand in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an energetic retail environment where new trends, great customer experiences and strong commercial results are at the heart of the business. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of the store. You will lead from the front, inspire the team and ensure customers receive an engaging and memorable shopping experience. You will have a strong eye for fashion and visual presentation, understand what drives sales and be confident motivating a team to achieve targets and KPIs. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delivering sales targets and store KPIs.
• Lead, motivate and coach the team to achieve strong individual and store performance.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and create a fun, engaging shopping environment.
• Keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and inspire both customers and colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Support stock management, deliveries and day-to-day store operations.
• Assist with recruitment, training and development of the store team.
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager, with the ambition to join a flagship store.
• A genuine passion for trend-led fashion, styling and retail.
• Experience managing a store with a turnover in excess of £1 million.
• A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to understand KPIs and drive sales.
• Confident leadership and people-management skills.
• An energetic, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ambition to develop and progress within retail management.
