About the Role
Develop your SEND career as a Key Stage 3 Assistant Special Educational Needs Coordinator at a secondary school in Watford. Supporting pupils aged 11–14, you will work closely with the SENCO and teachers to keep SEND provision organised, consistent and responsive to individual needs.
This administration-focused role involves maintaining SEND records, tracking support plans and interventions, and preparing Education, Health and Care Plan reviews. You will gather updates from teachers and communicate with families and external professionals, keeping information accurate and confidential.
The opportunity could suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, HLTA, SEND administrator or pastoral professional seeking wider inclusion responsibilities without taking on a qualified SENCO post.
