Assistant to Engineering Geologist

We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant to Engineering Geologist to join our Infrastructure division. 

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible candidate to join our GI Operations team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical engineering, 

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Logging soil and rock 
• Performing in-situ testing and sampling to current technical standards
• Assisting with the planning and supervision of ground investigation projects

Qualifications

To be a successful Assistant Geologist / Engineering Geologist, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
