Purchasing Assistant (Supply Chain/Procurement)

Desford, Leicestershire

£20.50 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35

12 month initial contract with long term extension and Temp to Perm opportunities

Excellent role for someone with previous purchasing or procurement experience who is looking to develop their skills through training while working in an established team with a market leading company.

They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working in an established team where you will be helping to coordinate a range of purchasing activities within the business. You will be using a specialist software system and use Excel to perform VLOOKUPS and other functions. The role will be working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday in a full on site role.

The Role:

• Coordinating various procurement activities with an international supply chain
• Specialist training given to enhance your technical skills
• Long term 12 month contract with extension and Temp to Perm opportunities

The Person:

• Come from a background in purchasing, procurement or in a supply chain environment
• Experience using Excel to perform tasks such as VLOOKUPS
• Looking for training from a market leading company offering specialist training
