Associate Structural Engineer – Wanted – Immediate Start!

Leicester | £60,000–£70,000 per year (DOE)

Are you an experienced Associate Structural Engineer looking for a new challenge with a growing business?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Associate Structural Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy based in Enderby, Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors, with project values of up to £50 million.

The role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for structural design, manage projects and teams, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

Essential:

• BEng/MEng qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Minimum 9 years' post-graduate experience

• Chartered or working towards chartership through IStructE or ICE

• Strong structural design experience and structural analysis skills

• Experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry

• Proficient in relevant engineering design software

• Excellent communication skills

• Full driving licence and own transport

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering design across a variety of projects

• Work on commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education projects

• Manage projects valued up to £50 million

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians

• Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines

• Produce accurate reports and project documentation

• Attend meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Provide technical input and support throughout the design process
