A leading precision engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced CAD/CAM Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

As a CAD/CAM Engineer, you will create CNC machining programmes using Powermill and WorkNC for a wide range of complex components serving the aerospace, defence and advanced engineering sectors.
The CAD/CAM Engineer will work closely with Production and Engineering teams to develop machining strategies, support CNC machining operations and drive manufacturing improvements.

Experience Required
•    Previous experience as a CAD/CAM Engineer, CNC Programmer or Manufacturing Engineer.
•    Powermill, WorkNC or similar CAM software experience.
•    Strong CNC machining knowledge.
•    Experience producing and optimising CNC programmes.
•    Understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining strategy.
•    Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models.
