My client is a well-established engineering business with a strong reputation within its specialist sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a CAD Engineer to join their technical office team, supporting the design and modification of existing engineered systems and products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Engineer who enjoys detailed design work, collaborating with internal teams, and working within a fast-paced engineering environment.
The Role - CAD Engineer
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Modifying and updating existing designs and layouts
- Using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for design and drawing work
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing drawings and BOMs
- Supporting engineering and production teams with technical documentation
- Making drawing amendments in line with the project and manufacturing requirements
- Ensuring drawings comply with company and industry standards
- Working closely with internal departments within an office-based engineering team
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday
- Previous experience working as a CAD Engineer or Design Engineer
- Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Background within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
- Ability to produce accurate technical and manufacturing drawings
- Understanding of production and engineering processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
