PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT – PART TIME | LEICESTER

We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Personal Care Assistant to support an elderly individual living with dementia in their own home in Leicester.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and companionship.

The role includes:

• Personal care and assistance with daily routines
• Supporting the individual with dignity, respect and patience
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Providing reassurance and support appropriate to someone living with dementia

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous relevant experience in a care or support role
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia is highly desirable
• A valid DBS check
• A caring, patient and compassionate approach
• Reliability and good communication skills
• Respect for privacy, dignity and independence
• The ability to work independently within a person's home
