Are you an experienced Ceiling Fixer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Ceiling Fixer to join a reputable and growing interior fit out contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Ceiling Fixer (not Dry Lining) to secure long-term work with a well-established company delivering high-quality projects for some of the UK's largest and most recognisable businesses. Successful candidates can expect ongoing work with the potential to move onto future projects as contracts continue nationwide.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card
• Ceiling Fixer qualification
• Experience installing suspended ceilings and associated ceiling systems

Applicants must hold a Blue CSCS Card showing Ceiling Fixer status or have Interior Systems listed on their qualification.

Desirable:

• IPAF Certification
• PASMA Certification
• Experience working on commercial fit-out projects

Roles & Responsibilities

• Installation of suspended ceiling systems to specification and project requirements
• Reading and interpreting drawings and site layouts
• Measuring, setting out, and installing ceiling grids and tiles
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship
• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Liaising with site management and other trades on site
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Reporting any issues or defects promptly to site management
• Assisting with project completion targets where required

Requirements

As a Ceiling Fixer, you will also be expected to:

• Attend site punctually and maintain excellent timekeeping
• Follow site-specific RAMS and company procedures
• Wear and maintain all required PPE
• Deliver work safely and professionally at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other subcontractors on site

• Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice
• Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation
• Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met
