Job Description:
An experienced and dedicated Registered Manager is needed to lead a new EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) care home in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking to make a positive impact within a well-established provider of specialist residential services for young people aged 6-17. The successful candidate will oversee the operational management of a 3-bedded OFSTED-registered service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the EBD care home in Bolton, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
• Maintain compliance with OFSTED regulations and other relevant standards.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of young people aged 6-17.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure a motivated and professional team.
• Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and external agencies.
• Monitor and improve service quality through audits, reviews, and feedback.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting, preferably with EBD or similar special needs.
• Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• Ability to lead a team and manage operational challenges effectively.
