HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Days & NightsLocation: Coalville, Leicestershire
Job Type: Temporary – Ongoing
Pay Rates: Days: £17.25 per hour Nights: £18.25 per hour
Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing temporary assignments based in Coalville, Leicestershire. We have both day and night shifts available, offering regular work with a well-established logistics operation carrying out general haulage deliveries and collections.

The Role
- Completing general haulage deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Completing all relevant paperwork and following company procedures.
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport legislation.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- £17.25 per hour – Day Shifts
- £18.25 per hour – Night Shifts
- Ongoing temporary work with regular, consistent shifts.
- Flexible day and night shift availability.
