Cleaning & Estate Assistant

Job description

BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced cleaner/estates person to provide estate maintenance to a retirement complex in West London.

You will need to be a driver for this position, and a van is provided. Some of the key duties involved are:

• Outside grounds maintenance, including lawn care.
• Border management
• Cleaning internal and external communal areas.
• Laying grit in bad weather
• Maintaining walkways and paths
• Litter picking
• Bin store management
• Bulk waste removal when necessary

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills, as you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, and you will be working both within a team and on your own.

Working hours are 35 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  

The rate is £16.82 p/h PAYE or £ 21.74 p/h Umbrella.

This is a temporary ongoing position initially for 3 months, with a likely extension.
