Salary circa £50,000 | Bonus Scheme | Healthcare | 33 Days' Annual Leave | Midday Finish Friday

A CMM Programmer opportunity has arisen within an established precision manufacturing business. Working closely with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams, you'll develop CMM programmes, improve inspection methods and ensure components meet customer requirements. You'll also provide technical guidance and support the development of the inspection team.

CMM Programmer responsibilities include -

• Creating, editing and improving CMM programmes.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T and customer specifications.
• Developing inspection methods, fixtures and probing arrangements.
• Supporting new product introduction and inspection documentation.
• Resolving measurement issues alongside Quality and Manufacturing.
• Providing technical guidance and supporting colleagues' development.

CMM Programmer desirable skills and experience include -

• CMM programming experience within precision manufacturing.
• Experience using Mitutoyo CMM equipment and MCOSMOS software.
• Confident interpreting engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills.
• Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
