CNC Miller

Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join an established precision engineering business supporting demanding sectors including automotive, motorsport and advanced manufacturing.
 

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines
• Online programming using HEIDENHAIN controls
• Offline programming using CAM software
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
• Selecting tooling, fixtures and cutting strategies
• Reading engineering drawings and CAD models
• Inspecting own work and carrying out dimensional check
• Supporting improvements to machining processes

About You

• Proven CNC Milling experience
• Confident programming, setting and operating independently
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and quality
• HEIDENHAIN experience desirable
• Experience with XYZ, Bridgeport or VISI desirable
• Precision engineering, motorsport, automotive or tooling experience desirable
