Coded Pipe Welder Winkleigh, Devon
£23ph / £25ph with Full Codes + Overtime

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting an experienced Coded Pipe Welder for a growing construction and manufacturing business in Winkleigh.
They design, manufacture and install stainless steel pipework and fabricated components for major food manufacturing facilities.
With recent contract wins, a strong order book and a new manufacturing facility under development, they’re expanding the workshop team.

The Role

You’ll work on bespoke stainless steel fabrication and pipework, including:

• MIG and TIG welding
• Coded stainless steel pipe welding
• Reading engineering and fabrication drawings
• Cutting, preparing and forming stainless steel
• Fabricating and assembling components
• Checking finished work against specifications
• Supporting workshop colleagues and apprentices
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety

About You You’ll need:

• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Stainless steel fabrication experience
• Relevant welding codes
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• A practical and reliable approach

Food manufacturing or hygienic production experience would be advantageous.
IPAF, Forklift or Telehandler tickets would also be useful.

The Package

• £23 per hour OR £25 per hour if you hold all required codes
• Weekday and weekend overtime
• Annual bonus up to one month’s pay
• Pension
