Axon Moore are proud to be supporting one of the UK’s fastest growing service companies as they look to recruit for a Credit Control to join their finance team. This role will be a brilliant opportunity for a first class customer services executive or debt collections agent to develop into a Credit Controller role


Salary: £28,000

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 09:00-17:30 or 8.30am to 5pm

Holidays: 25 days holiday


They are looking for a dedicated Credit Controller agent to assist with the collection of outstanding debts. As the Credit Controller you will contact customers and inform them of their debts, take payments over the phone, negotiate payment plans, and ensure the debt is recovered in a timely manner.


Duties:
  • Collect unpaid debt
  • Handle a high volume of calls
  • Provide excellent customer experience throughout the collections process
  • Document all interactions and actions in the system/database
  • Follow-up with customers to encourage debt settlement
  • Deal with queries on invoices
  • Handle questions or disputes related to debt
  • Investigate and resolve balance discrepancies
  • Communicate with management and other team members 
  • Comply with all company guidelines, policies and processes
 


Essential skills:
  • A minimum of one year experience in a call centre environment, in a debt collection or telesales role
  • Excellent communication skills with problem solving attitude
  • Customer oriented with a natural flair with conversation and negotiation
  • Attention de detail
  • Able to keep calm under pressure and have a diplomatic but firm manner
  • Persistent work ethic and resilience
  • Proactive and work effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to multitask effectively whilst keeping a high level of service quality
  • Results and target driven
  • Strong computer and MS Office skills
