Commercial Reporting Analyst

Experience: This would either suit Graduate level with 1-2 years experience, or candidates who have worked in the industry longer seeking a new opportunity.

Contract: 6 month contract
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year (dependant on experience) (£2500 - £2916 per month)
Working Pattern: Full time, 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for 2x Commercial Reporting Analysts to join a global Q-commerce business. You'll play a key role in the management, analysis and delivery of commercial incentive schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes and providing meaningful commercial insights.

Working closely with commercial teams and key stakeholders across the business, you will take ownership of incentive calculations, performance reporting and payment accuracy, helping to ensure incentive schemes are delivered effectively and support wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of commercial incentive schemes, including monthly and quarterly calculations and payments.
• Ensure incentive payments are processed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
• Analyse commercial performance data, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce regular reporting on incentive performance, effectiveness and return on investment.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve commercial performance.
• Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain data accuracy and process compliance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve efficiency and enhance existing incentive processes.
• Work closely with commercial stakeholders to resolve payment queries and communicate reporting outcomes.
• Support the implementation of changes to incentive structures and reporting processes.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a Commercial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Sales Incentives Analyst, Data Analyst or similar data analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
• Advanced/expert Google Sheets or MS Excel skills
• Experience using BI - Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar.
• Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across different departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and reporting deadlines.
