Job description
Commissioning Engineer Up to 55k + car allowance Remote based with UK travel Job responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across a variety of water and process treatment projects.
- Carry out pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, system start-up, optimisation and performance validation.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and start-up.
- Manage commissioning documentation, test records and handover packs.
- Act as the main client contact during commissioning, building strong relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with quality, environmental and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Experience commissioning mechanical, electrical, control or process systems within industrial, utilities, water or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on-site with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
- A proactive approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering projects successfully.
