Cover Supervisor - Primary School (Full-Time)

Location: Desford area, Leicestershire (LE9)

Start Date: ASAP (Autumn Term)

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Monarch Education are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Desford (LE9) area of Leicestershire to recruit a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for an immediate September start.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring that pupils remain on task and engaged with the work set. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and upholding the school's high standards of behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during teacher absence
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils stay on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils with their learning where required
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working in a school setting (TA, HLTA or Cover Supervisor)
• Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development
