Cover Supervisor | Southampton | £80-£120 per day | ASAP Flexible Supply

Reeson Education is inviting candidates to join its Cover Supervisor talent pool in Southampton for pre-planned secondary classroom supervision. As a Cover Supervisor, you will keep lessons purposeful while pupils complete work set by their regular teachers. This is registration for suitable current or future opportunities, rather than a guarantee of a confirmed placement.

Role Details

* Location: Southampton, Hampshire

* Pay: £80-£120 per day

* Start: ASAP, subject to registration and safeguarding checks

* Setting: Secondary schools, KS3 and KS4

* Contract: Flexible daily supply

Supervision and Classroom Routines

* A Cover Supervisor will explain pre-set tasks and make expectations clear

* The Cover Supervisor will manage behaviour, seating and transitions using school policies

* As a Cover Supervisor, you may supervise classes across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects without taking on full lesson planning

* An effective Cover Supervisor can help pupils remain engaged and refer specialist questions to subject staff

* Provide clear handovers and follow attendance and safeguarding procedures.

What We're Looking For in a Cover Supervisor

* Previous school or Cover Supervisor experience, or transferable youth work, tutoring, coaching, mentoring or group supervision for this Cover Supervisor role.

* Confidence communicating with secondary-age pupils.

* Calm authority and reliable professional boundaries.

* Good safeguarding awareness and flexibility across subjects.
