TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary academy in Nottingham, who are looking for reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support their day-to-day supply requirements. The school is committed to helping students develop the knowledge, skills and personal qualities needed to succeed.

The school is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to provide flexible, day-to-day supply cover, starting immediately, with work offered according to the school's daily staffing requirements. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 in the absence of teaching staff, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable but not essential

• Experience working with young people aged 11-16 in a secondary school or similar setting

• Experience supervising groups and managing classroom behaviour

• A good understanding of safeguarding and school expectations

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach to day-to-day supply work
