Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office (hybrid working)

Join our Financial Inclusion Team at L&Q: We have a really exciting opportunity for 2 enthusiastic and experienced Debt Advisors to help and support grow our financial inclusion Team in London.

A crucial element in enabling L&Q to produce this vision is via our Financial Inclusion Team, which sits in the wider foundation who are responsible for providing advice and guidance to our customers to enable them to sustain their tenancies.
As multiple debts often impact on a customer's ability to pay their rent, this post holder will ensure that a professional wide-ranging debt casework service is provided to our customers where debt is an issue.
If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply! Your impact in the role: You will ideally be an IMA Accredited Money Advisor, with experience of specialist debt casework with a proven track record. This role will involve advising customers on ways to maximise their income and manage their household budget taking into account priority debts.
You will need to be supportive and empathetic with our customers, but will also be able to give clarity around priority debts. You will be performance driven and comfortable visiting customers in their own homes. You will be able to build rapport with both customers and business colleagues in maximising customer disposable income both at the start of and during their tenancies.
What you'll bring including essential criteria: • Have a Certificate in Money Advice Practice (or willing to work towards one with sufficient experience to start the course immediately)
• Qualified Debt Relief intermediary
• Proven knowledge of debt casework
• Experience of developing and implementing procedures to support your work and experience in accurate recording and monitoring of outcomes.
• Full driving license with access to a car
