Job Description:

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a regional tier1 main contractor specialising in major projects across the high rise residential and dfe sector a Design Manager in the Derby area. 

Salary: £62K +packages

Required: Dfe experience

Start date: Asap

As Design Manager on this project, your responsibilities will include:

• Attending and contributing to design meetings
• Reviewing designs
• Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
• Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
• Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
• Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
• Ensuring project completion in line with programme
• Value engineering/ resolving technical and design issues
