Chauffeur / Professional Driver

Working Hours/ Shifts to be discussed.

Duties:

• To ensure punctual arrival at the agreed pick up location
• To fully understand the day’s itinerary and undertake effective planning of routes to ensure prompt arrival to client meetings
• To check proposed routes are clear using a Sat Nav
• To be fully prepared for the route to the next meeting, whilst the consultant is in the client meeting
• To monitor driving time and adhere to the driving regulations
• To ensure the vehicle is operated within the UK driving laws
• To hand in original driving licence as and when required
• To notify any point or driving offences to line manager

We are currently recruiting for two Chauffeurs / Professional Drivers, ideally based within a close proximity of Leicester, to provide a national professional driving service, ensuring a safe comfortable journey and timely arrival to meetings for our executive team. 

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for a flexible role within the driving sector. The primary responsibility will be to ensure punctual arrival at the agreed pick up location, fully understand the day’s itinerary and undertake effective planning of routes to ensure prompt arrival to client meetings. It is essential the successful candidate is able to monitor driving time, adhere to the driving regulations and to ensure the vehicle is operated within the UK driving law.

You will drive our company cars; however, you will need your own transport to travel to your pick-up location - pick-ups will mainly be in Leicester.

Chauffeurs / Professional Drivers Requirements:

• possess excellent driving skills, with a clean driving license
• ability to drive different vehicle makes and models  (automatic and manual)
• be courteous and professional
• ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality
• can demonstrate patience and flexibility
• be proactive in using waiting time to plan routes with strong geographical knowledge
• maintain punctuality at all times
• good interpersonal and communication skills
