Electrical Engineer |  Aberdeen | Permanent 

We are working with a leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development and lifecycle management of innovative products and systems within highly a regulated industry.

Job Description:

•  Deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing products
• Produce technical documentation including specifications, test procedures and reports
•  Carry out engineering calculations and support product improvements
•  Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards
•  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and production
•  Support projects from concept through to field deployment and ongoing support

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven electrical and electronic design experience
• Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CAD/design software and engineering standards

Desirable:

• Product design experience, particularly DC systems
• PLM system experience
•  Marine, defence, offshore or other regulated industry experience
•  Familiarity with LR and DNV standards
