Electrical Engineer – Tottenham Court Road

Location: Tottenham Court Road, Central London
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services team based at a commercial site near Tottenham Court Road.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to secure a stable Monday-to-Friday position while gaining further technical development through guaranteed HV and LV training.

The role offers a basic salary of £48,000, regular overtime opportunities and strong long-term progression within a professional commercial maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across electrical building services

• Attend reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns

• Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

• Carry out lighting and emergency lighting maintenance

• Complete electrical testing and minor remedial works

• Maintain plant rooms and associated electrical systems

• Complete site paperwork, logbooks and compliance documentation

• Liaise with clients, contractors and other members of the engineering team

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures

Requirements

• Fully electrically qualified

• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent

• 18th Edition preferred

• Experience within commercial building maintenance

• Strong electrical fault-finding ability

• Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance

• Professional and client-facing approach

• Keen to develop technically and undertake HV/LV training

• £48,000 basic salary
