Electrical Fitter / Electrical Technician

£34,500 + Monday - Friday + Early finish Fridays + Overtime

Burton-on-Trent

Commutable from Derby, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Tamworth, Lichfield and surrounding areas

Do you have experience in electrical fitting, wiring or installation and want to use your skills on specialist locomotive projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a locomotive manufacturer, working within a skilled team to build and install electrical systems. You'll see your work become part of a finished locomotive while developing your experience in specialist engineering.

In this role, you will construct, install and wire electrical systems to engineering specifications, working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, fully operational locomotives.

This role would suit an Electrical Fitter, Electrical Technician or someone with relevant hands-on wiring and installation experience looking for a varied manufacturing role with long-term progression.

The Role:

• 
  Build, install and wire electrical systems on locomotives
• 
  Complete work to engineering specifications and quality standards
• 
  Work alongside manufacturing and engineering teams
• 
  Maintain safe working practices and support production schedules

The Person:

• 
  Experience in electrical fitting, wiring or installation
• 
  Able to work accurately to engineering specifications
• 
  Keen to develop within specialist manufacturing
• 
  Commutable to Burton-on-Trent
