Electrical Supervisor – BESS Project | Coventry

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile renewable energy project, supporting the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all electrical installation works on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
• Oversee subcontractors and electrical trades teams
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, site procedures, and quality standards
• Coordinate daily activities with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and other trades
• Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS briefings, and site inspections
• Review drawings, technical documentation, and installation schedules
• Support commissioning activities and fault finding where required
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and permit systems

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on industrial, energy, utilities, or BESS projects
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and cable installation
• SSSTS / SMSTS preferred
• ECS / JIB Gold Card desirable
• 18th Edition advantageous
• First Aid at Work preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
